Jennifers body was producted by Fox Atomic. Other films they've made include the Rocker, I love you Beth Cooper, The Hills have eyes 2 ,28 Days later. These films are aimed at teenagers. All the films by this company have a similar budget, around 15-18 million. The budget effects different parts of a film. for example the more money the better actors you can get.

Teen Horror Focus group

I wanted to find out what the main focus group was when it came to Teen Horror films. I asked 7 people aged 16-25, 5 females and 2 males. Over half of the people where mainstreamers and agreed that they enjoyed watching teen horror films. The reason was that they where funny, good to watch with friends and where interesting. The people that didn't like horror films where all male and said they didn't like the gore and the bad story lines. My studies showed that people mainly watch films for the social interaction and for a diverstion.

Photos

I didn't take any new photos for this magazine as i already had many live photos from gigs that i wanted to use.

For my front cover, i used a photo of Shane Told from the band Silverstein that i had taken at there gig in December. Silverstein are a post-hardcore emo band so they fit into the genre of SCREAM!. I was very happy with this picture and thort it would fit nicely, as the masthead could go where the picture was black at the top. Also, i think my magazine cover looks better with one all over picture, then with a colour background aswell as a main photo. The only editing i did was brighten up the colour.

I used this photo on the contents page for a competition for readers to send in their gig photos. i took this at a Hollywood Undead gig, its of all of our hands reading HU4L on out fingers, which stands for Hollywood Undead for Life.
